In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of leading carpooling and ridesharing apps in Ukraine was marked by varied trends in downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower’s unified platform data.
Uklon: More Than a Taxi showed a stable pattern in downloads, starting at approximately 36.7K in early January, dipping to around 25.1K mid-quarter, and closing at 26.6K by the end of March. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 2.3M in early March.
Bolt: Request a Ride experienced steady growth in downloads, reaching a high of 23.6K at the end of March. Active users also saw an increase, peaking at roughly 1.9M in the same period.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus maintained consistent download numbers, averaging around 7K to 8K weekly, with active users climbing to 331.8K by late March.
Uber - Request a ride had a gradual increase in downloads, starting at 8.7K and ending at 6.4K. Active users showed a significant rise to 269.5K in early March, before settling at 230.4K.
inDrive. Save on city rides saw modest download numbers, averaging around 1.8K weekly. Active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at 67.9K.
