In the first quarter of 2025, the top dating applications in France continued to show varied performance across key metrics. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps demonstrated notable trends in revenue, downloads, and active user engagement.
Tinder Dating App: Date & Chat saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, starting at approximately $808K and peaking at $837K in the first week of January, before settling around $714K by the end of March. Weekly downloads showed a slight decline from 35.7K to 24.6K, while active users decreased from 1.75M to 1.45M.
Meetic - Rencontre et Amour experienced a stable revenue pattern, with weekly figures hovering between $193K and $235K. Downloads gradually declined from 20.7K to 15.9K, while active users peaked at 486K in mid-February before ending the quarter at 480K.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date maintained a consistent revenue stream, averaging around $200K weekly. Downloads showed a significant spike in mid-March, reaching 36.9K, while active users increased from 566K at the start to 526K by the end of the quarter.
Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat recorded a steady increase in weekly revenue, closing the quarter at $203K. Download numbers remained relatively stable, while active users saw growth, peaking at 265K in late March.
Hinge Dating App: Match & Meet showed a revenue increase, culminating in $210K by March's end. Download trends varied, with a notable rise to 35.3K in mid-March. Active users consistently grew, reaching nearly 375K by the quarter's conclusion.
