In the first quarter of 2025, fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Guatemala showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights key trends for the top five apps in this category.
McDonald's Express saw a consistent rise in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 21.5K towards the end of January. Active users also experienced growth, reaching a high of around 280K in late January before stabilizing around 223K by the end of March.
Taco Bell Guatemala had its downloads fluctuate, with a notable increase to about 23.4K downloads in mid-January. Active users steadily climbed from 50.2K at the start of the quarter to approximately 65K by the end of March.
Pollo Campero Guatemala maintained a stable download rate, hovering around 4K weekly. Active users began at 37.8K, peaking at 63.6K mid-January, before settling at 48K by the end of the quarter.
Domino's Pizza América Latina experienced a steady number of downloads, with slight fluctuations, averaging around 3.3K weekly. Active users increased from 24.5K initially to approximately 25.8K by the end of March.
Finally, Burger King Guatemala downloads showed minor variations, with numbers around 3.5K weekly. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 24.1K and ending the quarter at 23.5K.
