In the first quarter of 2025, Ireland's top food delivery apps showed varying performance trends. Here's a closer look at the key metrics for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Just Eat - Food Delivery experienced steady weekly downloads, starting at around 6.5K and fluctuating slightly throughout the quarter, closing at approximately 4.3K. The app maintained a consistent number of weekly active users, beginning at 147K and ending the quarter with 125K.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste saw an upward trend in weekly downloads, peaking at 5.1K in early February before settling at 3.5K by the end of March. The weekly active users showed a significant increase from 77.5K to nearly 118K over the quarter.
Deliveroo: Food & Shopping had a varied download pattern, with numbers starting at 3.4K and ending at 2.5K. Active users rose from 73.5K to 93.7K, reflecting a positive trend throughout the quarter.
HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery showed a decline in weekly downloads, from 2.7K to 2K. However, weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 42.5K and ending at 42.9K.
Uber Eats: Food & Groceries experienced consistent weekly downloads between 2.1K and 2.8K. Active users showed a slight decrease, starting at 26.9K and concluding the quarter at 22.4K.
