In the first quarter of 2025, the top gacha games in the United States displayed varied performance metrics across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at their trends:
Pokémon TCG Pocket from The Pokemon Company saw fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $11.5M in late January. Downloads peaked at around 467K at the start of the quarter, while weekly active users consistently exceeded 4M, reaching over 5.3M towards the end of March.
Whiteout Survival by Century Games Pte. Ltd. experienced a steady revenue stream, maintaining above $5M weekly, with a high of $7.4M mid-January. Downloads showed a decreasing trend from 438K to just over 206K. Active users remained stable around 2.3M, slightly increasing to over 2.4M by the end of the quarter.
Last War:Survival by FUNFLY PTE. LTD. achieved significant revenue, peaking at $14M in early February. Weekly downloads varied, starting at 335K and ending at 198K. Active users hovered around 1.3M, with a peak of 1.4M in March.
8 Ball Pool™ from Miniclip.com maintained a consistent revenue, averaging around $500K weekly, with a peak of $615K in March. Downloads showed a slight decline from 196K to 161K. Active users started strong at 1.8M, decreasing to about 1.4M by the quarter's end.
Dark War:Survival by Florere Game Limited had a steady revenue climb, reaching $1.7M towards the end of March. Downloads varied, peaking at 148K mid-February, while active users increased from 215K to nearly 279K.
