State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In the first quarter of 2025, several insurance applications in the United Kingdom demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at the top five apps based on Sensor Tower data.
Hastings Direct Insurance saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting the quarter at around 32K and peaking at approximately 39.4K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users also rose significantly, beginning at 271K and reaching 369K.
HSBC Health experienced a dramatic spike in downloads during the week of February 3, with numbers hitting 117K, before stabilizing around 6.5K towards the end of the quarter.
Admiral Insurance maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, averaging around 18K weekly. The app's active users increased from 146K at the start of January to 199K by the end of March.
Legal & General saw a surge in downloads in late February, with numbers reaching 60.9K, while active users fluctuated, peaking at 103K before declining to 80K.
Finally, MyAviva - Insurance & finance demonstrated a steady increase in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads grew from 11.5K to 19.4K, and active users climbed from 183K to 310K by the end of the quarter.
