In the first quarter of 2025, the interactive story games market in the United States saw varied performances across its top applications. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here is an overview of how the top five apps fared.
Love and Deepspace from INFOLD PTE. LTD. started the quarter with a significant weekly revenue of around $2.3M, which saw fluctuations, peaking again at approximately $2.7M mid-February. Downloads began at over 34K, gradually declining to about 19K by the end of March. Active users increased steadily, reaching over 540K in early February before stabilizing around 480K.
Chapters: Interactive Stories by Crazy Maple Studio, Inc. maintained a consistent weekly revenue, starting at $408K and slightly dipping to $329K by the end of March. Downloads decreased from 44K to 23K, while active users initially dropped from 134K to 45K, before recovering to 57K.
Episode - Choose Your Story experienced a steady revenue trend, starting at $312K and ending the quarter at $223K. Weekly downloads fluctuated between 38K and 83K, while active users showed a decline from 295K to 257K by the quarter’s end.
Love Island: The Game from Fusebox Games saw a revenue peak of $276K in late January, with a gradual decline to $177K by the end of March. Downloads started strong at 74K, decreasing to about 22K. Active users peaked at 61K in mid-February, before declining to around 35K.
Lastly, MeChat - Interactive Stories by PlayMe Studio showed a stable performance, with revenue ranging from $141K to $182K. Downloads fluctuated between 16K and 28K, while active users began at 91K, decreasing to around 65K.
