In the first quarter of 2025, the NFT gaming sector in the United States showed varied performance across top applications. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the trends observed in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for each of the top five NFT games.
IMVU: Fun 3D Avatar Chat Game experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, starting at approximately $223K and peaking at $224K in late February, before slightly declining to $199K by the end of March. Weekly downloads began at 41K, saw a dip to 21K in early March, and recovered to 26K by the end of the quarter. Active users decreased from 347K to 293K over the quarter.
Age of Apes showed a more consistent performance in revenue, starting at $171K, with a peak of $210K in late March. Downloads decreased from 32K at the start to 19K by the end of the quarter. Active users also saw a decline from 195K to 148K throughout the quarter.
Highrise: Avatar, Chat & Games had a revenue of $121K in early January, with a peak of $132K in late February, before ending March at $109K. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 15K mid-February and closing at 11K. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 80K and ending at 67K.
NFL Rivals - Football Game experienced a decline in revenue from $67K to $44K by the end of March. Downloads also decreased significantly from 33K to 6K. Active users followed a downward trend from 220K to 145K.
House of Blackjack 21 showed steady revenue, starting at $61K and ending March slightly higher at $63K. Downloads remained low, starting at 3.3K and decreasing to 2K. Active users started at 8.7K and dropped to 6.7K by the end of the quarter.
