Top Puzzle Games Performance on Unified Platform in the US, Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the puzzle game category in the United States showed varied performance across different apps on a unified platform. Data sourced from Sensor Tower provides insight into the trends of downloads, revenue, and active users for the top five puzzle games.

Block Blast！ from Hungry Studio saw a decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 1.5M at the beginning of the quarter and ending at around 631K. The app maintained a high number of weekly active users, peaking at over 10M in early February before dropping to approximately 8.7M by the end of March.

Color Block Jam by Rollic Games experienced significant growth in both revenue and downloads. Weekly revenue increased steadily, reaching over $2M by the end of the quarter. Downloads followed a similar upward trajectory, starting at 21K and ending at 476K. Active users also saw a substantial rise, from 45K to over 1.6M.

Word Search Explorer® by PlaySimple Games Pte Ltd maintained a consistent revenue stream, hovering around $29K to $31K weekly. Downloads fluctuated slightly, beginning at 201K and concluding at 295K. The app's active users increased towards the end of the quarter, reaching 748K.

Bus Escape: Traffic Jam from ABI GLOBAL LTD. showed a steady increase in revenue, ending at $208K. Weekly downloads saw fluctuation but remained strong, starting at 132K and peaking at 259K mid-March. Active users steadily increased, reaching 615K by the end of March.

Cryptogram: Word Brain Puzzle by Joyteractive faced a decline in downloads, starting at 333K and dropping to about 108K. Revenue saw a downward trend as well, ending at approximately $44K. Active users decreased significantly, from 984K at the start to 494K by the end of the quarter.
