In the first quarter of 2025, the top shopping apps in the United States displayed varied performance trends according to Sensor Tower data. Here's a closer look at the key metrics for each app.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw weekly downloads fluctuate, starting at around 860K and peaking at over 1.1M by early March. The app maintained a robust weekly active user base, starting at 43.8M and ending the quarter at approximately 43.9M.
SHEIN - Shopping Online experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 429K and rising to 625K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar upward trend, increasing from 26.2M to 26.8M.
Walmart: Shopping & Savings showed stability in weekly downloads, hovering around 430K initially and slightly declining to 393K by the end of the quarter. The app's active users remained steady, starting at 44.5M and closing at 43.2M.
Amazon Shopping recorded significant weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $6.1M in mid-January, while weekly downloads started at 438K and settled at around 328K. Active users showed a mild decrease, moving from 110M to 105M.
Shop: All your favorite brands experienced a moderate range in weekly downloads, from 353K to 347K. Active users saw a slight increase throughout the quarter, beginning at 17.7M and peaking at 18.2M.
