In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top shopping apps in Venezuela showed varied trends across downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.
Alibaba.com experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting with a high of approximately 144K at the end of December and dipping to around 14K by late January. Downloads then saw an upward trend, peaking at about 52K in early March. Weekly active users initially decreased from 590K to 288K but later stabilized around 400K.
The Mercado Libre: Compras Online app maintained a stable download pattern, ranging from 26K to 40K throughout the quarter. Active users remained consistent, starting at 657K and ending at approximately 675K.
SHEIN - Shopping Online saw its downloads peak early in January at about 42K, with a gradual decline to 25K by the end of March. Active users showed a slight decline from 1.66M to 1.49M across the quarter.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire downloads began at 37K, dipped to 17K in early February, and then leveled off around 21K towards the end of March. Active users saw minor fluctuations, starting at 276K and ending at 275K.
Amazon Shopping experienced a steady download rate, ranging from 5K to 7K. The weekly revenue remained consistent at around $9 to $11. Active users began at 157K, with a peak in mid-March at 162K, before settling back to 154K.
