In the first quarter of 2025, the top superhero games in the United States showcased diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active user metrics, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Super Fighter 3: Open City, developed by Starplay Games, experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at roughly $6.4K by the end of March. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 87.6K and closing the quarter at approximately 73K. The game maintained a strong presence with weekly active users rising from 781K to 897K.
DC: Dark Legion™ from FunPlus International AG, saw its weekly revenue soar, reaching about $1.5M by late March. Downloads started high at 395K but fell to 78.3K by the end of the quarter. Active users also declined from 355K to 142K during this period.
The Superhero League 2 by Lion Studios had no revenue data, but downloads showed a varied trend, peaking at 46.7K in late March. Its active user base increased from 288K to 336K over the quarter.
MARVEL Strike Force: Squad RPG by Scopely, Inc. experienced a decline in weekly revenue from $982K to around $755K. Downloads decreased steadily from 40.6K to 26.1K, while active users saw a slight drop from 233K to 219K.
Marvel Contest of Champions by Kabam Games, Inc. started the quarter with a notable $2.1M in revenue, but this decreased to $483K by quarter's end. Downloads followed a downward trend, ending at 15.7K, with active users declining from 230K to 205K.
