In the first quarter of 2025, the top tabletop board games applications in Austria showed varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the numbers from Sensor Tower.
Chess - Play & Learn from Chess.com saw a gradual decline in weekly revenue, starting at around $11.9K and ending at about $5.5K. Weekly downloads also decreased from 2.3K to 1.3K. However, weekly active users consistently increased, reaching over 59.1K by the end of March.
Backgammon - Lord of the Board by Beach Bum Ltd experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at $4.6K in late February and closing the quarter at approximately $4.5K. Downloads were relatively stable, with a slight rise to 147 in the final week. Active users showed a mild increase towards the end, reaching 2.6K.
Ludo Club・Fun Dice Board Game from Moonfrog had a noticeable spike in revenue in late February, hitting $2.3K, but declined to $1.2K by March's end. Downloads decreased significantly from 1.8K to 490. Active users saw a slight downward trend, ending at 20.5K.
Yalla Ludo - Ludo&Domino by Yalla Technology FZ-LLC showed a revenue increase in late March, reaching $2.6K. Weekly downloads remained low, fluctuating around 70. The app maintained a small but steady active user base, closing the quarter with 254 users.
Yahtzee® with Buddies Dice from Scopely, Inc. had a gradual increase in revenue, ending March at $1.4K. Downloads were consistent, averaging around 80 per week. The active user count fluctuated slightly, ending March at 1.4K.
