Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on Android in Europe: Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the European market for carpooling and ridesharing apps on Android experienced notable trends. Here’s an overview of the top five apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride showed a consistent upward trend in weekly downloads, starting at around 219K in early April and peaking at approximately 282K by the end of June. Active users also saw a steady increase, growing from 8.2M to 9.7M over the quarter.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a similar trend. Weekly downloads rose from 192K to 240K, while active users increased from 7.1M to 7.9M by the end of June.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery had variable download numbers, starting at 208K, dipping in the middle of the quarter, and then rising to 210K. Active users showed a slight upward trend, starting at 19.8M and reaching 20.5M.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus saw an increase in downloads from 64K to 89K, with active users peaking at 2.9M by the end of June.

Finally, Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had stable download numbers, starting at 45K and ending at 42K, while active users remained relatively steady, fluctuating around 500K.
