In the second quarter of 2025, the Australian Android market for insurance apps saw significant activity. Here’s a breakdown of the top-performing applications based on data from Sensor Tower.

My Medibank, developed by Medibank Private Limited, experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, peaking at around 3K in early June. Active users increased steadily from 44.5K to over 60K by mid-June, before slightly declining to finish the quarter at 54.6K.

The AAMI App by AAI Limited showed a consistent increase in downloads, reaching a high of 2.3K in early June. Active users peaked mid-June at 24.4K, but ended the quarter with a decrease to 17K.

Hostplus maintained a steady weekly download rate, starting at 3.8K and stabilizing around 1.5K towards the end of the quarter. Active users showed a positive trend, increasing from 26.7K to over 30K by the end of June.

For nib, downloads remained stable, with a slight peak of 1.9K at the end of June. Active users grew from 13.1K to 13.4K, demonstrating consistent engagement throughout the quarter.
