In the second quarter of 2025, the top insurance apps on the Android platform in Germany showed varied performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads and active user metrics for these apps.
TK-App, developed by Techniker Krankenkasse, experienced fluctuations in downloads, peaking at around 14K in early April and tapering to approximately 10K by the end of June. Active users showed an upward trend mid-quarter, reaching a high of 546K in early June before stabilizing around 442K.
Meine Allianz saw a consistent download pattern, with numbers hovering around 7K to 8K throughout the quarter. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 133K and experiencing slight variations, ending at approximately 112K.
The DAK App maintained a steady download rate, with figures ranging from 4K to 5K. Active users were relatively stable, starting at 91K and ending the quarter at about 91K, with minor fluctuations.
Meine SI Mobile by SIGNAL IDUNA showed a significant decline in downloads, beginning at 11K and falling to around 2K by the end of June. However, active users increased from 51K to 64K over the quarter.
Finally, ERGO APP downloads remained consistent, averaging around 4K per week. Active user numbers varied, starting at 25K, peaking mid-quarter, and closing at 20K.
