In the second quarter of 2025, the top insurance applications on the Android platform in the United Kingdom exhibited varied performance metrics, as revealed by data from Sensor Tower.
The Hastings Direct Insurance app maintained a steady trend in weekly downloads, reaching a peak of approximately 16.4K in early June. Meanwhile, weekly active users showed a significant increase, climbing from around 158K to over 235K by the end of the quarter.
For Veygo by Admiral, weekly downloads experienced a notable rise, peaking at about 18.9K in the first week of June. Active users also grew, starting the quarter at around 3.9K and ending at over 6.2K.
The DriveScore - Save on Insurance app saw a decline in weekly downloads from 10.8K at the end of April to about 4.6K by the end of June. Active users decreased from approximately 53K to 36.7K over the same period.
Admiral Insurance maintained a consistent download rate, ending the quarter with around 6.7K downloads per week. Active users fluctuated slightly, concluding the quarter with about 66.3K users.
Lastly, MyAviva had stable weekly downloads, averaging around 5.3K. However, active users declined from approximately 118.6K to 77.7K by the end of June.
