In the second quarter of 2025, the top MMORPG applications on Android in the United States showed varied performance trends. Based on Sensor Tower data, here's a closer look at each app's achievements.
ATHENA:Blood Twins by Efun Game Ltd. saw a strong start with weekly revenue peaking at approximately $145K in late May. Despite a decline in downloads from 65K in mid-May to under 9K by the end of June, it maintained a steady active user base, starting at 46K and closing the quarter at around 12K.
ODIN:VALHALLA RISING from Kakao Games Corp. experienced a downward trend in weekly revenue, starting at $186K in April and settling around $74K by the end of June. Downloads dropped significantly from 43K at launch to under 1K, while active users decreased from nearly 30K to just over 3K.
Ragnarok X: Next Generation by Gravity Game Hub PTE. LTD. showed a positive revenue trajectory, peaking at $140K in early June. However, downloads saw a sharp decline from 18K in early May to just over 2K by the end of June, with active users decreasing from 18K to approximately 6K.
MU: Dark Epoch, published by 37GAMES, maintained consistent weekly revenue around the $25K mark. Downloads decreased from 8K to under 2K, while active users saw fluctuations but remained around 24K by the quarter's end.
Diablo Immortal by Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. held a strong revenue position, with weekly earnings peaking at $218K at the end of June. Downloads remained steady around 4K, while active users fluctuated, starting at 31K and ending at around 23K.
