2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the second quarter of 2025, the iOS book app market in Norway showcased interesting trends across the top five applications. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps demonstrated varying patterns in downloads, active users, and revenue.
BookBeat: Audiobooks & E-books saw fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at 3.1K at the end of May. Active users began the quarter at 16.3K, dipping to a low of 9.8K in early June before recovering to 14.4K by the end of the quarter.
Bibliofil maintained a steady download rate, with numbers ranging from 700 to 1K weekly. Active users showed a decline from 3.2K to 2.4K over the quarter.
Nextory: Audiobooks & E-books experienced a strong upward trend in downloads, reaching 1.6K in the last week of June. Active users increased from 14.9K to 17.6K, while revenue showed minor fluctuations, peaking at $35 in the final week.
Fabel - Lydbøker og lydserier witnessed a significant rise in downloads, starting at 500 and climbing to 1.9K. Active users also increased, ending the quarter at 1.9K.
Storytel - Audiobooks Library had a consistent increase in downloads, peaking at 1.8K. Active users, however, declined from 62.6K to 48.2K, while revenue remained relatively stable, fluctuating around $600 to $700 weekly.
