In the second quarter of 2025, the iOS platform in the United States saw notable activity within the bubble shooter games category. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five games, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Fruit Merge: Match Game by Bravestars Technology JSC displayed impressive metrics. Weekly revenue climbed steadily, peaking at around $33K in late May. Downloads reached a high of 144K in mid-May before tapering to 99K by the end of June. Active users fluctuated, peaking at over 1M in the last week of June.
Bubble Cash from Papaya Gaming maintained stable weekly downloads, starting at 33K and ending the quarter at about 50K. Active user numbers also grew, reaching 276K by the quarter's end.
Brainrot Merge: Drop Puzzle by Getsmart LLC, launched mid-May, experienced a significant spike in downloads, peaking at 167K in its second week. However, downloads declined to 22K by the end of June, with active users decreasing from 172K to 90K.
Bubble Peak from Prinsloo Game Studio saw a decline in downloads, starting at 44K and dropping to 9K by mid-June. Active users mirrored this trend, decreasing from 195K to 116K.
Lastly, Fortune Bubble, also by Prinsloo Game Studio, showed an initial increase in downloads, peaking at 60K in early May, before falling to 9K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 70K and declining to 25K.
