In the second quarter of 2025, Google Maps maintained a steady presence in Australia, with weekly downloads fluctuating slightly between 20K and 26K. A peak of 24.2K downloads was observed in the final week of June. Active user numbers remained robust, averaging around 5.7M throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a consistent download rate, peaking at 27K in late April. Active user numbers varied more significantly, starting at 910K and ending at 967K, showing a notable increase.
