In the second quarter of 2025, Ireland's food delivery market saw significant activity across the top five apps. Here's a closer look at the performance of each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Just Eat - Food Delivery experienced a fluctuating download trend, starting the quarter with around 4.3K weekly downloads and peaking at over 5.1K by the end of June. Active users also showed variability, beginning at approximately 125K and closing the quarter slightly higher at 128.5K.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste saw a steady rise in downloads, from 3.5K at the start of the quarter to a peak of over 6.1K. The active user base increased from 117.8K to over 103K by June's end.
Uber Eats: Food & Groceries showed an upward trend in both downloads and active users. Downloads climbed from 2.5K to 4.6K, while active users grew from 22.4K to nearly 41K.
Deliveroo: Food & Shopping maintained a stable download rate, starting at around 2.6K and ending at 2.8K. Active users fluctuated, beginning at 93.7K and ending at approximately 87.4K.
HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery had a consistent download rate, starting the quarter with 2K and ending with 1.6K. Active users remained relatively stable, closing the quarter at around 45K.
