In the second quarter of 2025, the food delivery sector in Latin America saw notable activity with the top five apps showing varied performance trends across unified platforms.
iFood: pedir delivery em casa demonstrated robust download numbers, peaking at approximately 399K in mid-June. Despite fluctuations, weekly active users remained strong, closing the quarter at around 56M.
PedidosYa - Delivery App maintained a stable presence with downloads reaching up to 326K in early May. The app's active user base showed an upward trend, finishing June with about 11M users.
Rappi - Deliveries in Minutes experienced a slight decline in revenue, yet downloads remained robust, hitting 231K in mid-June. Active users consistently hovered around 12M, indicating steady engagement.
DiDi Food - Food Delivery saw a decrease in downloads towards the end of the quarter, starting at 166K in early May and dropping to 118K by June's close. Active users similarly declined, ending at approximately 4.8M.
Uber Eats: Food & Groceries showed a consistent increase in downloads, reaching 128K in late May. Active users grew steadily, culminating at nearly 6.8M by the end of June.
