In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the leading maps and navigation applications on the unified platform in Europe showed significant trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Uber - Request a ride experienced a consistent rise in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 553K in the first week of April and reaching over 809K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users also increased steadily, beginning at around 20.8M and peaking at approximately 23.2M.
Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a gradual growth in downloads, moving from 382K to 523K throughout the quarter. Its weekly active users fluctuated, starting at about 36.5M and ending at over 42.1M.
Bolt: Request a Ride showed a positive trend in downloads, increasing from 407K to 543K. The app's active users also rose, beginning at 12.8M and ending at 14.5M in the final week of June.
Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery experienced a varied download pattern, with numbers starting at 304K, dipping mid-quarter, and then peaking at 432K. Its active users saw a slight increase, ending the quarter at approximately 29M.
2GIS: Offline map & navigation demonstrated an upward trend in downloads, starting at 191K and closing at 258K. The app's active users also increased, from 23M to 25.8M.
