In the second quarter of 2025, the top social networking applications in Denmark showed varied performance trends on the unified platform, according to Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the data for the leading apps.
Threads by Instagram, Inc. saw weekly downloads ranging from 6.2K to 10.2K, with a peak in mid-April. The app's weekly active users started at approximately 260K, experiencing a gradual decline to around 202K by the end of the quarter.
WhatsApp Messenger maintained a consistent download rate, peaking at 9.3K in late June. The app's active user base expanded from 1.7M to over 1.9M, indicating its strong foothold in the market.
Beer Buddy - Drink with me! from Buddy Network GmbH saw a significant rise in weekly revenue, jumping from $31 to $565 by the end of June. Downloads increased notably, reaching a high of 8.4K in late June, while active users grew from 3.9K to 16.6K over the quarter.
Telegram Messenger recorded a stable increase in revenue, with a notable peak at $11.5K in the final week of June. Downloads were steady, reaching around 7K mid-June, and weekly active users fluctuated slightly, ending at approximately 298K.
Finally, Google Meet experienced a consistent download rate, peaking at 2.3K in early May. Active users showed a slight decline, starting at 57.8K and ending at 58.9K.
