2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the third quarter of 2025, the top five auto applications on Android in the Netherlands demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the market dynamics of automotive apps in this region.
AutoScout24: Buy & sell cars experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at around $309 in early September before dropping to $55 later in the month. Downloads showed an upward trend, reaching approximately 4.7K in late August, while active users gradually decreased from 162.8K to 117.2K over the quarter.
Tango saw a steady decline in downloads from 8.0K in early July to 2.4K in early September, followed by a recovery to 3.2K by the end of September. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 65.4K mid-July, then stabilizing around 62.4K by the end of the quarter.
Gaspedaal.nl: autovergelijker maintained a relatively stable download rate, with a slight increase to 3.4K in late August. Active users initially rose to 41K in late August but then declined to approximately 26.5K by the quarter's end.
Shell saw a significant rise in downloads from 1.3K in early August to 4.5K by mid-September, before settling at 3.3K. Active users increased steadily, reaching 31.2K by the end of September.
Finally, AutoTrack: Tweedehands & Nieuw witnessed a substantial rise in downloads, climbing from 705 in early July to 4.4K by late September. However, active users saw a decline from 23.6K in late August to 17.5K by the end of the quarter.
