2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of leading consumer finance applications on the Android platform in the Netherlands revealed some interesting trends. These insights, provided by Sensor Tower, offer a glimpse into the market dynamics.
Revolut: Spend, Save, Trade showed a varied pattern in its weekly downloads. Starting with around 9.5K downloads, it experienced a dip to about 4.2K mid-July, before gradually rising again to approximately 9.5K by the end of September. The app maintained a robust base of weekly active users, starting at 411K and peaking at 472K.
ASN Bank recorded a notable start with downloads peaking at nearly 30K in early July. This number decreased significantly, stabilizing around 4K to 5K for the rest of the quarter. Active users showed a slight decline initially, but rebounded to 338K by the end of September.
ING Netherlands maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 6.7K and ending at 7.5K. Its active user base remained strong, fluctuating slightly but staying above the 1.9M mark throughout the quarter.
Rabobank experienced steady download numbers, beginning with 6.2K and reaching 7.3K by late September. The app's active user count hovered around 1.6M, with a minor increase towards the end of the quarter.
Finally, Raisin saw a consistent download pattern, starting at 6.2K and ending at 4.9K. The active users fluctuated slightly but remained around 100K to 120K.
