In the third quarter of 2025, the dating app landscape in Italy on the Android platform showcased varied performances, as evidenced by data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the top five apps during this period.
Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date from Tinder LLC saw its weekly revenue start at approximately $215K, peaking at $236K in early August, before declining to around $150K by the end of September. Weekly downloads exhibited a noticeable spike mid-July with over 20K, but tapered off to just over 2K by the end of the quarter. Active users hovered around the 550K mark, with a slight decrease to just over 500K.
Badoo Dating App: Meet & Date experienced steady weekly revenue, maintaining figures around $62K initially, with a slight dip to $54K in September. Downloads began at over 4K but declined to just above 1K by the quarter's end. Active users started at 176K, decreasing to 152K.
Meetic - Amour et Rencontre showed a consistent revenue trend, starting at $40K and ending the quarter at $47K. Downloads saw a decline from over 6K to just a few hundred. The app's active users fluctuated around the 50K mark, ending with a slight increase to nearly 59K.
Yooppe - Singles dating app by IUMOB, an Italian publisher, saw its revenue rise from $31K in early July to a peak of $42K in mid-August, before settling at $28K. Downloads remained stable around 4K, with a brief peak at 5.8K in early September. Active user numbers were relatively stable, ending the quarter at around 16K.
Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat from Grindr LLC maintained a revenue range from $29K to $38K, with a peak in early September. Downloads were consistent, ranging from 1.8K to 2.3K. Active users started at 85K, decreasing to about 63K by the end of September.
