In the third quarter of 2025, the dining and restaurant sector on Android in Germany saw varying trends across its top apps. Here's a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
McDonald’s Deutschland experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads, starting at approximately 19.8K at the beginning of July and peaking at around 27.3K by mid-September. The app's weekly active users remained robust, hovering around 1.8M throughout the quarter, indicating strong user engagement.
Subway Deutschland maintained a steady download rate, with numbers ranging from 8.8K to 12.4K through the quarter. Active users showed an upward trend, starting at about 83.5K and reaching over 105K in early September.
Burger King Deutschland saw a consistent increase in downloads, reaching a high of approximately 12.1K by the end of September. The app's active users also showed a positive trend, growing from 420K to over 524K.
Recipes - All My Meals generated notable revenue, peaking at around $7.9K in mid-August. Downloads were highest in late July at approximately 19.6K, while active user data was not available.
Bitburger encountered a decline in downloads, dropping significantly from 11.2K in early July to just over 110 by the end of September. Active users mirrored this trend, decreasing from 67K to about 3K.
