In the third quarter of 2025, the top fast food and fast casual restaurant apps on Android in the United States showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at the trends for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.
McDonald's saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 194K in mid-September. The app also maintained a robust number of weekly active users, starting at around 9M and climbing to over 10M by quarter's end.
The BURGER KING® App experienced fluctuations in downloads, with a notable high of about 94K in early August. Active users remained relatively steady, ending the quarter at about 1.37M.
For Domino's Pizza USA, weekly downloads steadily increased, surpassing 84K in late September. The app's active user base showed a similar upward trend, reaching nearly 1.9M by the end of the quarter.
Taco Bell Fast Food & Delivery maintained a stable download rate, consistently around 60K to 67K. The app's active users peaked at approximately 2.9M in early September, before settling around 2.7M.
Lastly, Chick-fil-A® had a significant surge in downloads mid-quarter, reaching about 158K. However, this was followed by a decline, with downloads stabilizing around 32K. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking early and then settling at around 2.7M.
