In the third quarter of 2025, the top shooter games on the Android platform in the United States displayed varied performance metrics, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at how these games fared:
Destiny: Rising by Exptional Global saw a significant peak in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $753K in early September. However, weekly downloads decreased sharply from about 327K in late August to just over 15K by the end of September. Active users also declined from 241K to 21K during the same period.
War Drone: 3D Shooting Games from Mobile Gaming Studios Ltd. experienced a steady drop in weekly revenue throughout the quarter, starting at around $52K and closing at $37K. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable rise to 36K by the end of September. Active users saw a significant decrease from a high of 143K in late July to 28K by the end of the quarter.
Delta Force, published by Level Infinite, displayed modest weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $34K in late September. Weekly downloads were highest at 80K in mid-July and saw a resurgence to 33K by the end of September. Active users trended downwards, with numbers dropping from 195K in late July to 155K at the quarter's end.
Call of Duty®: Mobile by Activision Publishing, Inc., maintained strong weekly revenue, hovering around $1M for most of the quarter. Downloads were relatively stable, starting at 38K and closing at 27K. The game’s active users showed a gradual decline from 690K in late June to 452K by the end of September.
Sniper 3D: Gun Shooting Games from Wildlife Studios had a steady revenue trend, averaging around $34K per week. Downloads remained consistent, with a slight increase to 31K in late September. Active users peaked at 158K by the end of September, showing an upward trend from mid-quarter.
