In the third quarter of 2025, Italy's food delivery app market on iOS was dominated by Glovo: Food Delivery, Takeaway, Deliveroo: Food & Shopping, Too Good To Go: End Food Waste, Just Eat - Food Delivery, and Uber Eats: Food & Groceries. Here's a closer look at their performance trends according to data from Sensor Tower.
Glovo: Food Delivery, Takeaway saw a fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at around 27K and experiencing a decline to approximately 17K by the end of September. Weekly active users for Glovo showed a more positive trajectory, increasing from about 743K to 769K by the end of the quarter.
For Deliveroo: Food & Shopping, weekly downloads started at 19K and slightly decreased to about 15K by the end of the quarter. Interestingly, its weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a minor decrease from 702K to 653K.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at 9K and ending at 20K. Its active user base also saw growth, beginning at 525K and reaching 614K by the end of September.
Just Eat - Food Delivery maintained steady download numbers around 14K, with minor fluctuations. However, its active user count showed a downward trend, starting at 104K and ending at 85K.
Lastly, Uber Eats: Food & Groceries had more modest download numbers, declining from 3K to 2K. Despite this, its weekly active users increased slightly from 18K to 22K over the quarter.
