In the third quarter of 2025, anime games continued to captivate audiences in the United States. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five anime games on a unified platform, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Umamusume: Pretty Derby by Cygames, Inc. showed impressive numbers, with weekly revenue peaking at about $5.5M in mid-July. Weekly downloads started strong at over 200K, gradually declining to around 25K by the end of September. Active users saw a peak of over 527K in July, dropping steadily to approximately 339K by the quarter's close.
DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE maintained a steady weekly revenue, reaching a high of $3.7M in late July. Downloads remained relatively consistent, fluctuating between 6K and 12K. Active users peaked at over 215K in early August before gradually declining to about 149K.
DRAGON BALL LEGENDS experienced a revenue peak of nearly $2.9M in early July. Downloads began at around 25K, decreasing to just over 11K by the end of September. Active users started the quarter strong at 673K, with a slight recovery towards the end, closing at approximately 504K.
ONE PIECE Bounty Rush saw a significant revenue spike in late August, reaching $561K. Weekly downloads varied, peaking at nearly 18K in early September. Active users increased steadily, reaching over 60K by the end of the quarter.
The Seven Deadly Sins from Netmarble Corporation showed a notable revenue peak of $601K at the start of the quarter. Downloads were modest, starting at 7K and dropping to 2K. Active users initially peaked at 29K, ending the quarter at around 16K.
