In the third quarter of 2025, the consumer finance app landscape in Italy showcased notable trends across various metrics. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the performance of the top applications on a unified platform.
Revolut: Send, spend and save maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 70K to 90K. Active users saw a gradual increase, peaking at around 3.6M by the end of September, indicating consistent engagement.
ING Italia - Banca Online experienced a decline in downloads from a high of 123K at the quarter's start to around 9.6K by its conclusion. However, active user numbers grew steadily, reaching approximately 765K, suggesting improved user retention.
Intesa Sanpaolo Mobile saw its downloads range between 18K and 29K throughout the quarter. Despite this, active user numbers remained robust, closing at over 7.1M, reflecting the app's significant user base.
Splitwise showed a peak in downloads in early August with 39K, before settling between 14K and 15K by the quarter's end. Weekly revenue saw a modest increase, reaching $2.1K in the final week. Active users fluctuated, ultimately rising to about 777K.
SCRIGNObps mobile banking had a notable increase in downloads, starting from 5.9K and ending at 61K, indicative of growing interest or adoption.
