In the third quarter of 2025, the UK food delivery app market saw varied performance among the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Ocado: Online Supermarket experienced a significant decline in weekly downloads from 165K at the end of June to approximately 35K by the end of September. Meanwhile, weekly active users increased steadily, reaching around 676K by quarter's end.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste saw a rise in weekly downloads, peaking at 71K mid-September. Active user numbers fluctuated, with a notable peak of approximately 2.6M in late September.
Uber Eats: Food & Groceries maintained stable weekly downloads, averaging around 57K towards the end of the quarter. Active users showed a consistent increase, ending the quarter with about 4.3M.
Just Eat - Food Delivery recorded a gradual increase in downloads, reaching over 50K by late September. Active users also grew, peaking at approximately 3M during the quarter.
Deliveroo: Food & Shopping saw a steady rise in downloads, culminating in 54K by the end of September. Active user numbers remained strong, with a slight decline, ending the quarter at roughly 3.5M.
