The third quarter of 2025 saw varying performance trends across the top food delivery apps in Sweden. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps exhibited distinct patterns in weekly downloads and active users on a unified platform.
foodora - Food Delivery experienced a diverse range of weekly downloads, beginning with approximately 10.8K downloads and fluctuating through the quarter, peaking again at 10.2K in late August. The app's weekly active users started at 348K, declining to a low of 251K in early August before recovering to 315K by the end of September.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste showed a positive trend in weekly downloads, beginning around 7.3K and climbing to over 10K by mid-August. Active users increased steadily from 220K at the start of the quarter to a peak of 305K in mid-August, before settling at 255K by the end of September.
Wolt Delivery: Food and more had consistent download numbers, starting at 4.8K and maintaining a stable pattern throughout the quarter. Active users saw a significant increase from 85.9K to a peak of 108K by the end of September, indicating growing user engagement.
Uber Eats: Food & Groceries experienced a decline in downloads from 5.3K at the start of the quarter to a low of 3K in mid-August, before rebounding to 5.1K by the end of September. Meanwhile, active users fluctuated, starting at 47K, dipping mid-quarter, and rising back to 44.7K.
Matsmart saw a gradual increase in downloads from 1.2K in early July to 3.1K by the end of September. This app's rising download numbers suggest an expanding user base over the quarter.
