The third quarter of 2025 showcased interesting trends among the leading insurance apps in the UK. Using data from Sensor Tower, we delve into the performance of these applications across both iOS and Android platforms.
Hastings Direct Insurance saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, peaking at around 38K in late July and maintaining a steady range thereafter. The app's active user base varied, starting at 560K and ending the quarter with approximately 570K.
Admiral Insurance experienced a consistent number of downloads, with numbers hovering around 20K throughout the quarter. Active user numbers showed an increasing trend, reaching over 207K by the end of September.
Cuvva maintained a steady download rate, slightly decreasing from 16K to around 14K by the end of Q3. Active users grew significantly, starting at 69K and finishing with an impressive 80K.
MyAviva - Insurance & finance recorded a stable download trend, averaging around 13K weekly. The app's active users showed a marked increase, closing the quarter with nearly 290K.
Finally, Veygo by Admiral saw a decline in weekly downloads from 22K to just over 4K by September's end. Active users also decreased, from 72K at the start to about 56K.
