In the third quarter of 2025, the MMORPG genre saw varying levels of engagement and revenue generation in Guatemala. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five apps on a unified platform:
Diablo Immortal from Blizzard Entertainment experienced a gradual decrease in weekly revenue, starting at around $219 and peaking at $433 in early August before declining to $144 by the end of September. Downloads fluctuated slightly, with a peak of 105 in mid-September, while active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 462.
MapleStory M - Fantasy MMORPG showed a significant increase in revenue towards the end of the quarter, reaching $507 during mid-September. Despite this revenue growth, there were no new downloads recorded throughout the period.
The Legend of Neverland by SKYWORK AI Pte.Ltd. had consistent weekly downloads, peaking at 229 in mid-September. Revenue remained steady, with a slight dip in July but recovering to $179 by the end of September. The app maintained a stable active user base, ending the quarter with 626 users.
Albion Online from Sandbox Interactive GmbH saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, with highs reaching $234 in early September. Downloads and active users experienced a downtrend, with downloads dropping to 41 and active users to 100 by the end of the quarter.
Black Desert Mobile by PEARL ABYSS had a varied performance, with revenue peaking at $156 at the start of September but dropping significantly to $9 by the end of the month. Downloads remained low throughout the quarter, with a slight increase to 21 in the final week. Active user numbers showed a similar trend, decreasing from 39 to 17.
