In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of music and audio apps on a unified platform in Latin America showed diverse trends across the top five applications. Here's a closer look at the key metrics for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Spotify: Music and Podcasts experienced a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $630K in early September. Downloads saw a notable rise, reaching 1.49M in mid-September. Meanwhile, active users grew steadily, culminating at about 131M by the end of the quarter.
Amazon Music: Songs & Podcasts saw a gradual increase in revenue, ending at $115K in late September. Weekly downloads initially rose, peaking at around 183K in late July before declining to 150K. Active users fluctuated but ultimately increased to over 5.2M.
Deezer: Music & Podcast Player maintained stable revenue, peaking at $192K at the end of September. Downloads varied slightly, ending at 71K. Active users saw a general decrease, settling at 5.4M.
Apple Music had a gradual increase in revenue, reaching $51K by quarter's end. Downloads peaked at nearly 297K in mid-August before dropping significantly. Active users showed a steady rise, reaching 1.6M.
Moises: The Musician's AI App saw a slight decline in revenue, ending at $63K. Downloads decreased over the quarter, with a slight recovery to 136K by the end. Active users remained stable, hovering around 841K.
