Top Navigation and Maps Apps Performance in Russia Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, navigation and maps apps showed varied performance on the unified platform in Russia, as reported by Sensor Tower.

2GIS: Offline map & navigation maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 225K and 286K. Active users remained consistently high, peaking at about 24.8M.

Yandex Maps and Navigator experienced a slight dip in weekly downloads, ranging from 153K to 183K. Weekly revenue showed minor fluctuations, averaging around $2K. Active users peaked at 43.9M mid-quarter.

Yandex Navigator saw a decline in weekly downloads from 144K to 94K. Revenue remained steady around $11K to $14K per week. Active users were consistent, with numbers around 21M.

Google Maps experienced a slight decrease in weekly downloads, from 51K to 36K, with minimal revenue. Active users saw a gradual decline, ending the quarter at approximately 12.4M.
