Top Navigation and Maps Apps in the US Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on a unified platform in the United States showed varying performance trends. Here's a detailed look at each app based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps Go maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at over 532K in late July. Despite a decrease in downloads towards the end of the quarter, active users remained steady, fluctuating around 190M. Revenue saw brief upticks, reaching approximately $41 by mid-September.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had consistent weekly downloads, with numbers hovering around 210K to 245K. Active users showed a slight decline, ending the quarter at about 20.5M.

Google Earth experienced a gradual decline in downloads, starting at 160K and ending at approximately 137K. Active users fluctuated, closing the quarter with around 2.6M users.
