Privacy Risks Curb Growth of Female Health Apps

The report states that global usage of period tracker apps has decreased by 7% YoY in 2Q23 due to concerns over new political policies affecting women's health. The majority of new users are finding these apps through organic search, with an average of 85% across the top three apps. Among these apps, Flo is the most popular, accounting for 41% of total monthly active users and 91% of the revenue in the studied cohort.
