In the first quarter of 2023, Sensor Tower data reveals interesting trends for the top 5 geolocation games on Android in Latin America. Here's how these games have fared in terms of downloads and player engagement.
Pokémon GO experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads, peaking at around 232k in the third week of February, while the number of weekly active users remained consistently high, with a peak of around 11 million in early March.
For Jurassic World Alive, downloads surged to almost 81k in the third week of February. The weekly active users saw a significant jump around the same time, reaching over 125k.
Tamadog - Puppy Pet Dog Games showed a strong performance with downloads peaking at around 36k in the third week of February and in the last week of March. Weekly active users saw an upward trend, peaking at over 63k in the third week of March.
Ingress Prime had a minimal presence in terms of downloads, with only a few hundred downloads recorded in February. The weekly active users for this title remained below 300 for most of the quarter.
Lastly, Pikmin Bloom observed modest download numbers, with the highest at 182 in the third week of January. The game maintained a steady base of weekly active users, hovering around 60k throughout the quarter.
