Q1 2023 Performance of Top Music/Rhythm Android Apps in Europe

The first quarter of 2023 has seen a dynamic performance among the top Music/Rhythm applications for Android in Europe. Sensor Tower's data provides a detailed look into how these apps have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and user engagement.

Beatstar - Touch Your Music started the quarter with around 20k downloads and ended with nearly 16k, witnessing a peak of around 75k downloads in late January. Weekly active users saw a decrease from around 582k to approximately 422k by the end of the quarter, with revenue fluctuating but ending the period at about 40k.

Just Dance Now experienced a significant surge in downloads in mid-March, jumping from roughly 11k to around 36k, and reaching nearly 27k the following week. Active users also saw a noteworthy increase during the same period, from around 28k to over 51k. Revenue trends showed a slight rise towards the end of the quarter, ending at around 4k.

HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE! maintained a consistent number of downloads throughout the quarter, starting with over 13k and ending with around 12k. Active users showed a gradual increase, with numbers growing from approximately 145k to around 155k. Revenue saw a spike towards the end of March, reaching over 20k.

Ensemble Stars Music displayed a varied download trend, peaking at over 6k in January and then dropping to around 3.8k by the end of March. Active users experienced a slight decline, starting at around 15k and decreasing to approximately 13k. Revenue for Ensemble Stars Music ended the quarter at just over 2k.

Love Live! All Stars had a negligible number of downloads, with figures mostly in the single digits throughout the quarter. Active users for this app declined significantly, from 59 in late December to just 10 by the end of March.
