Q2 2023 Performance of Top Drawing & Coloring Apps on Android in the US

The second quarter of 2023 has been eventful for the top Drawing & Coloring applications on Android within the United States. Here's a glimpse into how these creative platforms have fared according to data from Sensor Tower.

Tap Color Pro: Color By Number experienced a fluctuating trend in revenue, peaking at around $9k in early April and then gradually declining to about $8k by the end of June. Downloads saw a dip in early April to around 22k but rebounded to approximately 31k by the end of Q2. Weekly active users started strong at around 150k, dipped to nearly 140k in April, and climbed back up to nearly 148k by the end of June.

The Paint by Number: Coloring Game showed a similar pattern in revenue, starting at around $9k, reaching over $10k, and then declining to just under $7.5k by late June. The app's downloads remained fairly steady, with a slight decrease from around 17k to 10.5k over the quarter. Weekly active users saw a significant decline from over 336k to around 283k.

Cross-Stitch World did not record any new downloads in Q2 2023. Revenue figures started at approximately $8.9k and saw a mid-quarter dip to around $5k before stabilizing at about $6.3k. The app's weekly active users showed a consistent decline from roughly 2.4k to 1.4k.

Gallery: Coloring Book & Decor's revenue experienced fluctuations, peaking at nearly $6k in early April and then dropping to about $3.5k by the end of the quarter. The downloads were sporadic, with significant activity in early May and mid-June, followed by periods of no new downloads. Weekly active users decreased from around 22k to just under 20k.

Lastly, Recolor - Adult Coloring Book saw its revenue fluctuate between $3.7k and $4k, with a noticeable dip to around $2.7k towards the end of June. Downloads were quite low compared to other apps, ranging from 450 at the start of the quarter to around 1.3k by the end. Weekly active users showed a gradual increase from about 2.9k to over 3.3k.
