ROBLOX claimed the top spot as the world’s highest-grossing mobile game in October 2026. Honor of Kings, Gossip Harbor, Royal Match and Whiteout Survival rounded out the global top five.

According to Sensor Tower’s App Performance Insights, ROBLOX ranked No. 1 worldwide in both revenue and revenue growth in October. Its Halloween campaign, The Hollow, connected nine horror experiences in a shared survival event. Each night, players explored a new maze and faced a monster from one of the participating games, including 99 Nights in the Forest, Animal Hospital, and Scary Shawarma Kiosk. Quests across the hub and participating games offered ways to explore Roblox’s horror lineup and earn avatar rewards, while limited-time Halloween items created opportunities for further engagement and spending.
Honor of Kings ranked No. 2 worldwide by revenue in October 2026. Its eight-day Anniversary Celebration began on October 24, with login rewards including tickets for an in-game prize draw and Rose Hearts—a currency used to redeem rare skins—and other anniversary items. The celebration also opened redemption for a limited-edition Legendary outfit, giving players a chance to claim a major cosmetic reward.
Other top-grossing games also marked Halloween with limited-time content. Gossip Harbor ran three events: Halloween Hijinks featured spooky card collecting, The Cat in the Castle sent players exploring eerie grounds, and The Ghostly Gallery offered rewards at a haunted exhibition. Royal Match paired the Spooky Rise and Pumpkin Party challenges, while Whiteout Survival ’s Halloween Party featured pumpkin battles and festive surprises.

World of Goblins, Kakao Games’ MMORPG, ranked No. 2 worldwide in revenue growth and No. 1 by downloads and revenue in South Korea. Set in a high-fantasy world inspired by Korean folklore, it pairs top-down gameplay with pixel-art characters and 3D environments for a 2.5D look. Character customization, cooperative guild activities, and offline progression give players several ways to develop their heroes in a genre where realistic 3D graphics are common.
SD Gundam G Generation ETERNAL ranked No. 4 worldwide in revenue growth and No. 1 by revenue in Japan, where spending spiked during its 1.5th anniversary campaign. The 27-day celebration began September 30 with a new story chapter and newly available mechs, including limited-time units. Later in the month, a story event drew on another part of the Gundam universe, followed by a late October update that expanded the roster. The updates added new story content and more collectible mechs from the long-running franchise.
I’m MT: Rise, a new Squad RPG based on the popular Chinese animated series I’m MT, ranked No. 10 worldwide and No. 1 in China for revenue growth. It revisits the series’ comic fantasy world and familiar adventuring crew in a more hands-off format: players build five-character squads, combine faction bonuses, and collect upgrade resources through idle play. Tower challenges, dungeon runs, and PvP battles offer more ways to develop and test teams.

Creators also brought Halloween themes to their own Roblox games. In Block Blast!, an eight-day Halloween Puzzle Event began October 27, asking players to collect pieces and build a glowing giant pumpkin.
Brain Puzzle 3: Crazy Mind and Meowdoku ranked No. 4 and No. 5, climbing three and five places, respectively. Their accessible puzzles each have a distinct theme: cartoon riddles in Brain Puzzle 3 and cat-themed number challenges in Meowdoku. Halloween updates extended those themes, with Meowdoku’s 17-day Trick or Meow! asking players to place costumed cats in haunted corners, and Brain Puzzle 3’s 19-day Trick or Treat: New Levels! adding spooky stages and surprises. Across the top five, Halloween events translated the season into different kinds of play, from survival challenges to collection and puzzle activities.
Global mobile game downloads reached 3.65 billion in October, up 2.4% month-over-month. India led with 668 million downloads (18.3%), followed by the United States (7.3%) and Brazil (6.1%).
Rotate Rings ranked No. 2 worldwide in download growth and climbed to No. 7 by total downloads. Since its August launch, Nebula Studio’s puzzle game has reached 18.7 million downloads, led by the United States, Indonesia, Brazil, and Mexico. Four other titles also broke into October’s worldwide download-growth top 10: MemeMix Challenge: Funny Party ranked No. 3, Surprise Dumpling: ASMR Box at No. 4, Blade Fish at No. 7, and Indian Bike Gangster City 3D at No. 10. Their varied genres—from social party play and ASMR to underwater growth and open-world exploration—found audiences across Latin America, South and Southeast Asia, and other emerging markets. The gains highlight how new, easy-to-try games can attract downloads across distinct audiences.
Projeto Grau 2, a motorcycle stunt simulator, ranked No. 8 worldwide in download growth and drew its largest audiences from Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina, alongside Mexico and Venezuela. Its gameplay centers on grau, Brazil’s wheelie-based motorcycle stunt style, which has a following as both street culture and an organized sport. Players can perform wheelies, stoppies, and burnouts in an open city, then take on delivery jobs or customize their bikes. The locally recognizable riding style may help the game connect with players in Brazil and the wider region.
Overall, October’s rankings showed established hits maintaining their reach as newer titles gained momentum. Halloween events gave players timely reasons to explore familiar games, while distinctive mechanics—from spatial puzzles to motorcycle stunts rooted in local culture—helped fresh releases stand out.
