State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
The first quarter of 2023 has been an eventful period for Hack and Slash applications on iOS in the United States. Sensor Tower has compiled data revealing the performance of the top contenders in this genre. Here's a closer look at how each app fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Disney Mirrorverse, published by Kabam Games, Inc., showed a fluctuating trend in revenue, peaking at around $80k in mid-February before settling at approximately $50k at the end of March. Downloads saw an increase in early January, reaching over 10k, but gradually decreased to around 6.6k by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users started strong at around 81k but experienced a downward trend, concluding the quarter with approximately 60k active users.
Honkai Impact 3rd from miHoYo Limited demonstrated a remarkable revenue spike in mid-February, touching around $430k, followed by a gradual decline to roughly $43k by the end of March. The app's downloads peaked in late February with over 10k downloads, while weekly active users showed an overall decreasing trend, from around 60k at the beginning of the quarter to about 60k by its end.
CookApps' Idle Berserker: legend of rpg saw its revenue fluctuate, with significant highs in early January and late March, reaching around $83k. Downloads peaked in mid-January at close to 10k but dipped to approximately 2.4k by late March. Weekly active users experienced an overall increase, starting at around 20k and rising to nearly 29k.
Shadow Hunter: Lost Worlds, despite its smaller revenue figures, peaked at over $11k in early January and ended the quarter at around $5.6k. Downloads showed a downward trend, starting at around 6.2k and ending at about 3.1k. The weekly active users remained relatively stable, beginning at approximately 47k and ending the quarter near 45k.
Lastly, MARVEL Future Fight by Netmarble Corporation experienced a notable revenue surge in late February, reaching over $150k, with the quarter closing at around $76k. Downloads remained stable, hovering around 3k throughout the quarter. The weekly active user count saw a slight decrease from around 55k at the start to roughly 50k at the quarter's end.
