In the second quarter of 2023, the US Android MMORPG category demonstrated dynamic performance across its leading apps. Brought to you by Sensor Tower, here's an overview of how the top 5 MMORPG applications fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Diablo Immortal showed a revenue trend that began at around $407k in the last week of March and saw a dip to approximately $197k by the end of May, before climbing back to about $316k by the end of June. Downloads for the game started at around 13k in late March and decreased to about 4k in late April, then surged to nearly 17k by late June. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at around 81k, dipping to roughly 54k, and rebounding to approximately 76k in the same time frame.

Summoners War: Chronicles experienced a revenue high of nearly $538k in late March, which then fell sharply to just over $26k by the end of June. The app's downloads peaked at around 13k in late April and fell to zero in early June, with a slight increase to 919 by the end of the quarter. The weekly active users saw a peak of approximately 47k in late April and stabilized at around 33k by the quarter's end.

For MapleStory M - Fantasy MMORPG, revenue started at about $164k and experienced a decrease to nearly $25k by the end of May, then rose to approximately $40k by late June. Downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from 697 to 727 throughout the quarter. The weekly active users had a slight decrease from about 2k at the start of the quarter to 1.7k at the end.

MIR M saw its revenue start at around $416k and dramatically decrease to just $1.6k by the end of June. The downloads for MIR M were minimal throughout the quarter, with 243 at the start and no new downloads recorded from early April onwards. Weekly active users remained fairly consistent, with a slight decrease from 1.1k to 873.

Finally, The Legend of Neverland showed revenue beginning at approximately $87k and ending the quarter at around $60k. Downloads for the game started strong at over 10k but saw a decrease to about 9k by the end of June. Weekly active users saw a high of approximately 63k in late April and ended the quarter with around 56k.
