The fourth quarter of 2020 was a dynamic period for Music/Rhythm Android applications in Latin America. Sensor Tower's data offers a glimpse into the performance of the top apps in this category.
Just Dance Now by Ubisoft Entertainment experienced a steady increase in revenue from $14K to over $20K by the end of the quarter. Downloads saw an initial decline from 70K to 32K in early November but picked up again, reaching 44K downloads by the year's end. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, dipping to 100K and then rising to 113K.
Sweet Dance-LA from UniuGame, based in Hong Kong, also saw a rise in revenue, starting at $3.9K and climbing to $5.8K. Downloads for the app showed a decline from 66K to 32K, while weekly active users dropped from 83K to 46K.
AMANOTES PTE LTD's Magic Tiles 3 from Vietnam displayed a growth in revenue, starting at around $1.3K and ending at $2.4K. Downloads began at a high of 549K, saw a mid-quarter dip, and then ended strong with 617K. Weekly active users started at 3.4M, with slight fluctuations, ending the quarter at 3.6M.
Bushiroad International Pte Ltd's Love Live! All Stars had a modest revenue increase from $1.3K to $2K. Downloads were negligible, and the number of weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 2.3K.
Finally, BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!, also by Bushiroad International Pte Ltd, showed an erratic revenue pattern, with a peak at $3.2K in late November. Downloads spiked to 3.4K in the same period, while weekly active users peaked at 7.9K before settling at 5.4K.
