In the final quarter of 2020, France saw notable activity in the food delivery service app market. Data from Sensor Tower provides a glimpse into the performance of the top applications in this category, revealing trends in downloads and weekly active users.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting at approximately 101K in late September and peaking at around 133K in early November before settling at about 102K by the year's end. The app's weekly active users followed a similar pattern, with a high of roughly 2.7M in mid-November and ending the quarter with around 2.4M active users.
Deliveroo: Food Delivery App also showcased a variable download trend, initially at about 50K, peaking at nearly 77K in early November, and concluding the quarter with around 66K. Weekly active users for Deliveroo peaked at over 700K in mid-November, concluding the quarter with approximately 664K active users.
For Too Good To Go: End Food Waste, downloads saw a peak of approximately 91K in mid-November, while weekly active users reached a high of around 1.3M in the same period. The quarter ended with about 38K downloads and close to 792K weekly active users.
Just Eat FR - Livraison Repas saw its downloads increase over the quarter, starting at around 31K and reaching about 52K in late October. The app's weekly active users grew from approximately 185K to over 203K by the end of December.
Jow - easy recipes & groceries maintained a steady download rate, beginning the quarter with around 34K downloads and ending with about 27K. Weekly active users showed slight growth, starting at nearly 139K and closing the quarter at around 147K.
